Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University that was founded in 1998. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Minister of Education, a freedom fighter during the independence era, and a scholar of Islam and Urdu language, is the name given to it.

This institute is divided into seven schools, each with 24 departments that offer master’s degrees, MPhil and PhD research programmes. MANNU Distance Education‘s Lucknow location accepts applications for MA programmes in Urdu, Arabic, Persian, and English. In Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Darbhanga, it has established three polytechnic institutions. It also provides a variety of academic programmes via distance learning.
