MCA (Master of Computer Application)
The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree program at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology has been developed to provide students with academic skills and logical reasoning, which will help them find work in the public and private sectors and in the software industry.
The course is approved by the AICTE and is accredited by NS-EN ISO 9001:2000. This is 2 years course with an intake of 30 students. The course is offered by SMIT on the Majitar campus.
Eligibility Criteria and Duration of Distance MCA
Candidate must be Passed any graduation degree (eg: B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Com, B.A, B.Voc, etc) preferably with Mathematics at the 10+2 level or the Graduation level. With at least 50% aggregate marks.Â
The duration of this course is 2 years which is divided into 4 semesters.
