What after the NEET 2024 Examinations?
Since NEET 2024 results are out, colleges will soon be accepting admissions. This year marked the largest number of toppers, making MBBS as one of the most opted courses.
After the NEET 2024 examinations, several key steps take place:-
- Firstly, the results are announced, and the final answer key is released, allowing candidates to assess their performance accurately.
- A merit list is prepared following the results, which is crucial for the subsequent counseling process.
- This counseling is conducted at the national level for 15% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats and at the state level for 85% of state quota seats.
- Several rounds are conducted, during which candidates register, fill in their preferences for colleges and courses, and then participate in the seat allocation process.
- For the AIQ seats, the counseling is managed by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), while state authorities handle the state quota seats.
- Each counselling phase ends with seat allotment, after which candidates must report to their allocated colleges to complete the admission process.
