ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA & DURATION OF DISTANCE msc
The eligibility parameters differ as per the M.Sc specializations students choose to pursue at SPU. So, eligibility requirements to enroll in M.Sc(Science) are as follows-
- Students have to complete their B.Sc in physics to be eligible to enroll in the M.Sc in physics program.
- To be eligible for an M.Sc in chemistry, a candidate must have a B.Sc in chemistry.
- Students with a B.Sc. Applicants with a degree in EVS/MBBS/BE/B.Tech are eligible to apply to SPU’s M.Sc. program in the Environment & Ecology program.
- To pursue an M.Sc in biotechnology, students have to graduate in B.Sc biology/biotechnology/microbiology/nursing/food science, or BPT/B.Pharma/BMIT.
- Students have to complete their B.Sc with math or B.Sc in math with computer science to enroll in the M.SC in Mathematics program.
- Graduate students in B.Sc math/CS/IT BCA are eligible to opt for the M.Sc IT program.
- Additionally, students have to also attain at least 50% marks in their undergraduate degree course.
